Here are some of our 88 5- Star reviews, 2016, 2017 and 2018

It is our third time returning to Sarah’s wonderful place and we still can not fault it. It’s a beautiful quiet country escape that we will continue to return to again and again when in need of a last minute weekend away!
Dominique, from England, August 2018
This place is fabulous. Great communication and prompt response. My weekend at the upper mews was amazing – just the peace and quiet I was craving to get my dissertation finished. Hosts were hugely accommodating and thoughtful touches such a treat hamper certainly got me through the early hours. Place is amazing with great attention to detail. When can I come back pls?
Yvonne, from England, June 2018
The drive to the property was beautiful itself. Soon as we saw the black front door we knew it had character. Once the door was opened everything was laid out perfectly. Amazing house and surroundings make this a little gem. Furnishings where spot on. Nothing to complain about. Communication was perfect and anything we needed all we had to do was ask. I can see why this place is always booked up. Lived up to the hype. Will be back soon. Thumbs up.

I stayed for a long weekend in Sarah’s beautiful, very clean and lovely furnished and equipped apartment. I felt at home, safe and comfortable at all times! Sarah is such a wonderful host. She gave me a warm welcome, showed me around and was very accessible and charming! The apartment had even more to offer than I would have expected. Especially the food for breakfast was very thoughtful and caring! Sleep was very relaxing, as it is very dark at night and it was very quiet. All the equipment and amenities are brand new and very neat, you can see that this apartment is very good taken care of… I would come back anytime, and would most warmly recommend the flat. Thank you, Sarah!

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment. Spacious, quiet and in beautiful surroundings. A great place for those who want to be close to all the motorway networks but far enough to feel you’re getting away from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend The Upper Mews. Thank you Sarah.

Air BnB say: Another successful 3 months….
“Wow, it’s time to celebrate. You’re one of the few hosts who earned Superhost status four quarters in a row!
Keeping your response rate high and getting great reviews while hosting frequently is a true achievement.”
Air BnB, Oct 2017
Amazing! The entire place was spotless and above an average Air BnB.
By far, the best place we stayed at during our Eurotrip.
Highly recommend!!!!

Beautiful apartment, lovely reception, and an amazingly peaceful location. Will definitely book here next time I’m in the area.

Home from home. The Upper Mews is a beautiful, clean and well decorated apartment thanks to Sarah and family. Sarah was a great host down to her little notes and maps to the jams/milk and eggs (thank you) left for us. The area is very peaceful and makes you forget about the hustle and bustle of the city. There is lots to do.. walking, check out the village shops or just stay down the local pub. Most of our time was spent in the apartment because it had everything we needed. I can’t wait to come back – thank you.
Amrita, from West Bromwich, Aug 2016
Wow, what a find! I was working locally for a couple of days and this was the perfect place to call home whilst I was away. I prefer to use airbnb to ‘chain’ hotels where Possible and this was the nicest I’ve stayed in. Sarah replied promptly to my communication, and was friendly and informative both on email and in person. I really appreciated the little touches left for me (fruit, chocolate, orange juice etc). The facilities were excellent; all amenities in the kitchen, great shower and very comfortable bed. The area is very pretty and rural, and although I was working I felt like I was on holiday. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in the area and would absolutely recommend it to others.
